What does the job look like?

As a Transport Allocator, you will play a crucial role in our Intermodal team based in Acacia Ridge, ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and effective manner. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. We currently have a day shift opportunity available working Monday to Friday from 5:00am
- 1:00pm with any overtime as required. Key areas:

- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance
- Maintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them
- Monitoring service schedules for fleet & completing accurate handovers for AM shift team each day
- Completing Yard checks and meeting Safety KPI's

Are you the one?
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers and customers
- Experience in similar positions working within the Logistics/Transport/Rail industry highly regarded
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area will be highly regarded, however not essential
- Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
- Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly
