About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and caring Environmental Service Worker to join our team at Brig-o-doon Aged Care located in Acacia Ridge, QLD. In this role, you will help create a clean, secure, and welcoming workplace for our residents every day.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas

Laundry duties (washing, drying, folding and distribution)

Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation and service

Supporting dining room setup and pack down

Following infection control and safety procedures

Work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly

About You

Reliable, positive and team-orientated

Experience in cleaning, hospitality or similar (aged care a bonus)

Good communication skills

Able to multitask and stay organised

Full Australian work rights

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning, laundry, hospitality, or kitchen hand roles (aged care experience is desirable)

Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook, internet use)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities

Hold valid Australian work rights

National Police Check (or ability to obtain)

Desirable

Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualification
