What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is currently seeking a Freight Processing Officer based in Acacia Ridge. Within this role you ensure accurate and timely processing of data to complete the manifest process, through assisting and communicating proactively and effectively with the operations and administration team. We currently have a full-time permanent position on a rotating Monday to Friday roster. During Week 1 you will work 6am to 2pm and then on Week 2 you will work 2pm to 10pm. You will be required to work some rotating Saturdays as part of this role. Key areas:

- Assist in tracking customer bookings to point of delivery and advise operations staff and / or customers if delays or problems are anticipated
- Process all connotes, create manifests in the Translogix
- Interact with customers on a day-to-day basis, providing support where necessary
- Arrange connote books to be delivered to customers when necessary
- Other administrative support as required by the management team

- Experience in an Operations Assistant/Administrator’s role within the transport industry
- A team player who is proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan the daily workload effectively
