Surefit Glass Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing glass and aluminium manufacturing and installation company based in Coopers Plains, Brisbane. We specialise in high-quality commercial glazing and aluminium installation projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas. Due to continued business growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Glazier to join our team on a full-time basis. About the Role This position aligns with ANZSCO/OSCA Occupation 362131 – Glazier, involving the measuring, cutting, finishing, fitting and installation of flat glass and mirrors across commercial projects. The role involves both workshop and on-site glazing work throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. Main Duties and Responsibilities ● Measuring and assessing the type and dimensions of glass required ● Reading and interpreting plans, sketches and drawings ● Cutting, shaping and finishing glass and mirrors to specification ● Installing glass into windows, doors, shopfronts, partitions and other structures ● Removing and replacing damaged or broken glass ● Preparing surfaces and applying adhesives for installation ● Ensuring proper alignment and positioning of glass products ● Operating glazing machinery, hand tools and power tools ● Performing quality control checks and identifying defects ● Working safely on commercial construction sites ● Assisting with aluminium framing and glazing systems where required The position is based at our Coopers Plains workshop, with travel to job sites across Brisbane as required.
