General Practitioner Anaesthetist (Katherine)

Primary Objective Rural Generalist and Anaesthetic services to Katherine Hospital, within the scope of a General Practitioner Anaesthetist. Anaesthetics will be approximately 1‑3 days/week, with other days in Rural Generalist roles. These may include Emergency medicine – provide expertise in emergency medicine including shift coordination/supervision, Community General Practitioner – provide General Practitioner services to Big Rivers Region community clinics supported by Katherine Hospital, and Inpatient perioperative medicine including management of pre and post operative patients and care of surgical admissions in collaboration with Royal Darwin Hospital specialist surgical teams and Katherine Hospital medical team. Selection will be made at the SRGT, RG, or SRG level depending on the experience of the successful applicant.
