The Maintenance Planner position is responsible for day-to-day maintenance planning and management of our cotton ginning production machinery and equipment. The position ensures the timely completion of all maintenance tasks so as to achieve bale output targets to the highest standard of quality and safety. Responsibilities include:

Serve as a liaison between maintenance and production with respect to maintenance and shutdown planning

Devise maintenance and repairs plan/schedule for all ginnery equipment to minimise plant and equipment unplanned downtime;

Ensure maintenance and repairs plan/schedule is adhered to;

Adjust schedules as appropriate to account for unexpected machinery breakdown;

Establish open lines of communication between departments to ensure maintenance plan is carried out in an productive manner;

Provide reactive support to cotton ginnery equipment in the event of an emergency breakdown;

Conduct testing of all ginnery machinery and equipment to ensure all ginning machinery are operating at maximum capacity;

Skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning (essential);

Solid skills in maintenance/production environments;

Team player attitude with high attention to detail;

Ability to commit to residing in the Northern Territory;

Willingness and ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug + Alcohol testing.
