Bar Attendant / Bar Supervisor Nhulunbuy

The Walkabout Lodge & Tavern Nhulunbuy, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking Bar Attendants and Bar Supervisors to join the team. As a Bar Attendant, you will provide excellent customer service by mixing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As a Bar Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. Key duties include supervising bartenders, handling customer inquiries, training recent employees, and coordinating with management to improve bar performance. - Providing food and beverage service to customers including order taking, preparing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, cleaning glasses and equipment.
- Processing sales transactions and operating cash registers.
- Stock rotation including changing of kegs, replenishing par stock.
- Supervising and training bar attendants of a lower grade. Successful Candidate:
- Ability to handle high-performance situations and resolve issues effectively.
- A desire to grow your skills and progress your leadership experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours including on weekends.
- Hold a relevant OLGR qualifications for the role or willing to obtain.
- Applicant must have at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience. Perks:
- Full-time salary between $65,000
- $85,000 + Superannuation depending on experience.
