**Your new company**
Australian Integrated Carbon offers a range of services to enable you to generate carbon credits and create revenue, including Human induces Regeneration, Reforestation& Revegetation and Biodiversity Credit Assessment.
Working as project development partners with Australian farmers, Indigenous communities, large energy users and waste facility managers, we help our customers find additional revenue streams whilst improving on environmental performance.
**Your new role**
- Overseeing, planning, and organising projects from the initial stages through to completion.
- Managing projects from a financial, time management and resourcing perspective.
- Communicating directly with clients and maintain / strengthening relationships.
- Carrying out monitoring and reporting as per project and client requirements.
- Implementing the company safety, quality, and environmental management plans.
- Providing leadership teams to deliver existing portfolio of projects and develop future projects.
- Undertaking field-based survey work, including vegetation identification and ecological mapping.
- Providing support and advice to primary industry sectors regarding sustainable land management and ecological restoration.
- Assessing the feasibility of project approaches for conservation and carbon outcomes.
- Assisting in developing and implementing ecological monitoring programs with the ability to detect change over time.
- Preparing and presenting technical information to a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. landholders, Clean Energy Regulator (CER), AIC executives).
- Contributing to management planning initiatives with landholders.
- Explaining how on-ground management actions lead to environmental improvements to landholders, government officers and other third parties.
- Data curation, analysis, and data integrity.
- Establishing and manage relationships with stakeholders across project portfolio.Statewide and interstate travel may be required from time to time.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural sciences, or a related field.
- Experience working in remote areas and hold relevant 4WD and first aid training.
- Experience with Arc GIS and ability to prepare and manipulate basic GIS data.
- Demonstrated understanding of the interrelationships between farming systems and ecological processes
- Ability to undertake environmental data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake field work, including ecological/environmental surveys in remote locations.
- Experience in writing property management plans, informed from field work and in collaboration with landowners.
- Experience working in and knowledge of semi-arid and rangeland land systems and vegetation.
- Experience working in environmental consultancies delivering projects to clients on time, and within budget.
- Experience in biodiversity assessments.
- Required to hold a current Australian driver's licence (and ability to drive manual vehicles)
