Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Gepps Cross, Adelaide

Pay

Above award hourly rates: $40 – $45 per hour.

Responsibilities

Complete all service and maintenance requirements on customers prime mover fleet and trailing fleet vehicles.

Work autonomously and provide exceptional customer service.

Communicate effectively and promptly with management, customers and drivers.

Document all repairs, including parts usage.

Participate in the on-call roster with regular overtime.

Commit to robust work and health safety standards.

Skills & Experience

Minimum Certificate III in Mechanical trade or equivalent qualification with experience in the heavy vehicle industry.

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Good diagnostic ability; welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.

Attention to detail and customer focus.

Own tools.
