- Interpreting designs and site documents to perform installation
- Inspecting, cleaning and handling optical fibre cable and connectors
- Fibre splicing
- loose tube & ribbon
- Fault finding and repairs
- Customer device installs
- Exchange and data centre work
- Internal and external cable hauling
- Ability to complete workbooks Civil Telecommunications / Labourers
- Interpreting designs and site documents to perform installation
- Pit & pipe installation
- Internal and external cable hauling
- Trenching, backfilling and reinstatement
- Plant and machine operations Skills and Experience
- Driver’s licence
- Construction industry white card
- Police clearance
- Current first aid & CPR
- Traffic management
- Confined space & gas testing
- Working at heights
- ACM removal
- Identify, locate and protect UG assets Favourable
- NBN enable and accreditations
- Certificate III Telecommunications
- ACMA with endorsements
