We are seeking an experienced Human Resource professional to support the Rail business, based in Keswick on an on-going full-time basis.

Rail Expeditions is made up of Australia's iconic train journeys, The Ghan, Indian Pacific, Great Southern and The Overland. Rail Expeditions is part of the Journey Beyond Group, a dynamic experience-based tourism business focused on sharing the special places in which it operates and creating and shaping lasting memories for all of its guests.

**About the role**

We are seeking a energetic professional to join our innovative team as a Human Resource Business Partner, supporting the business to provide exceptional HR support, guidance, and leadership. You will be responsible for:

- partnering with the business on the delivery of key projects and managing the day-to-day HR operations of the business as part of a team
- supporting recruitment, talent identification and onboarding needs across the business
- coaching and mentoring people leaders and providing robust stakeholder support
- employee and industrial relations, performance management, grievances and learning and development
- training delivery and end-to-end coordination of training across the business

**About you**

You will be a savvy, smart, commercial HR professional with experience in developing high quality HR solutions that will enable the businesses to deliver on its key commercial drivers and people management initiatives.

You must be a resilient all-rounder who has relevant Industrial, and Employee Relations skills coupled with the ability to relate and engage a diverse team across multiple locations. You will love to have fun in your role and get involved in operational HR activities.

You are passionate about experiential tourism, a contemporary thinker and someone who is driven and understands how to partner and support all human resource functions whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
