We currently have a vacancy for a Qualified Chef or Experienced Cook to join the team at our state-of-the-art facility located in MONARTO SOUTH.

This is a casual position working Monday to Friday alongside our current Chef, assisting with the preparation and delivery of daily meals for our factory workforce.

We offer attractive hourly rates based on your experience and work history.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with planning, preparing, and cooking quality meals for factory workers at our Monarto facility. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.

Duties include: Assisting with preparation and cooking of daily lunch meals for up to 200+ employees Working closely with our current Chef to ensure meals are delivered on time and to a high standard Assisting with menu preparation and food presentation Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, cook pad, and dining areas Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation Supporting a positive and efficient kitchen environment

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a commercial kitchen workplace Strong understanding of food handling and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure Good time management and organisational skills Reliability and robust work ethic Ability to work well within a team environment Valid driver’s licence (desirable) Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing Drug & Alcohol screening

Qualifications & Employment Experience

Commercial Cookery qualifications highly regarded Experienced cooks encouraged to apply Experience preparing meals in high-volume kitchens preferred Passion for quality food and service delivery Knowledge of food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including a Drug & Alcohol test.
