Adelaide Convention Centre | Hybrid Role | 24/7 Roster | Internal Career Opportunities About The Role We're looking for reliable and professional Part‐time Precinct and Building Security Officers to join our team, delivering safety and security across both internal building operations and external precinct areas. You'll play a key role in protecting people, assets, and facilities while also creating a welcoming and customer‐friendly environment for visitors, clients, and the public. Working Structure 24/7 rotating roster (including nights and weekends) Hybrid role: mix of indoor building security + outdoor precinct patrols Flexible shifts supporting a dynamic events environment What You'll Do Patrol buildings, car parks, and surrounding precinct areas Monitor safety, respond to incidents, and manage emergencies Ensure compliance with regulations (including liquor licensing & safety laws) Provide excellent customer service to visitors and clients Conduct security checks (bags, access control, CCTV monitoring) Assist with crowd control and manage anti‐social behaviour Support operations like loading docks, traffic management, and cash escorts Record incidents, maintain reports, and use security systems What We're Looking For Security experience (patrolling or similar roles preferred) Calm, professional approach in high‐pressure situations Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Flexible and reliable for a 24/7 roster Team‐oriented with a customer‐first mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Requirements Certificate II in Security Operations (minimum) Current Security Licence with Crowd Controller Why Join Us?
