The Office is tasked with a significant responsibility: bringing together a holistic, connected system for early childhood development across South Australia, with the goal of reducing the rate of children entering school developmental vulnerable. Critical to this is the roll-out of universal 3-year-old preschool from 2026, giving every child access to 2 years of teacher-led, play-based early learning before school.
**About this role**: As the **Implementation Support Officer, Early Childhood**, you will be central to the roll-out of **universal 3-year-old preschool** and other sector-shaping initiatives across South Australia. This is your opportunity to contribute to a statewide movement supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing from the earliest years with a team that values collaboration, impact, and community connection.
As a key member of the Local Team, you will:
- provide **high-level coordination and administrative support** to ensure smooth implementation of early childhood reforms.
- manage **scheduling, meetings, travel logistics**, and diary coordination for the Regional Manager and team.
- managing administrative processes such as **minute-taking, correspondence tracking, document management**, and action item follow-ups.
- support **data collection, minor research, and implementation of local projects**.
- assist with **financial processes**, HR tasks, and internal compliance reporting.
- act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring **professional, timely, and responsive communication**.
- foster collaboration by maintaining **information systems, databases**, and communication channels.

**Remuneration**: ASO4-$76,561 -$80,256 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.
