Executive Assistant/Administration Officer Orano Mining Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an organized and professional Executive Assistant / Administration Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the Adelaide office and broader exploration activities. This is a full-time role supporting the Managing Director, Operations and HSE Manager, and wider operational team across administration, finance, coordination, logistics and compliance functions associated with mineral exploration activities in South Australia. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation of the business while contributing to a professional, organized and well-coordinated office and operational environment. This role supports a business operating within the mineral exploration industry, where operational activities and priorities can change in response to weather conditions, remote access requirements and evolving project demands. As such, this role requires someone who is adaptable, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. About the Role Key responsibilities include:
- Providing executive assistance and administrative support to the Managing Director including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and correspondence
- Supporting the day-to-day administration and operation of the Adelaide office (including assisting the Managing Director with the initial set up and establishment of the Adelaide office)
- Assisting with operational administration associated with exploration programs, contractor coordination and field logistics
- Coordinating travel, accommodation, mobilisation logistics and operational bookings
- Maintaining company records, registers, filing systems and document control processes
- Assisting with preparation of reports, presentations, meeting minutes and company documentation
- Supporting staff and contractor onboarding, inductions and compliance tracking activities
- Assisting with procurement, purchase orders, invoice processing and operational expense reconciliation
- Supporting administration of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Providing general administrative support across operational and technical teams
- Other duties as reasonably required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Administration Officer or business support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to work proactively and independently
- A professional and confidential approach to sensitive business matters. The following would be highly regarded:
- Experience within mining, exploration, engineering or resources industries
- Experience with document control systems or compliance administration
- Exposure to contractor coordination or operational support environments
