- Maintaining the policy and governance framework, specifically policies, procedures and related documentation.
- Analyse business process information to identify/escalate risks, issues and opportunities for improvement to Management.
- Deliver quality assurance projects to support the achievement of Branch and organisational goals as required.
- Investigate and prepare briefings/reports and recommendations on specific complex customer complaints within the required timeframe.
- Work with the Manager, Governance and Compliance and branch managers to ensure data is collected in a timely manner and collated into draft briefings and reports.
- Develop effective working relationships, be approachable and work cooperatively with others to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in risk, compliance, audit or governance functions, and managing and conducting compliance reviews. The ideal person The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role in Local, State or Federal Government.
- Tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Risk Management, Business, Law, Finance, or related discipline.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple programmes and deadlines.
- Experience in working in a customer service environment.
- Experience in the delivery and management of training programs, information sessions and staff presentations. Special Conditions National Police Check required.
