Position: Carpenter (Formwork / Structural Carpentry – FRP Works) Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $77,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Thebarton SA **** Our client is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their construction team delivering structural concrete and formwork packages across projects in South Australia. The successful candidate will work on formwork, reinforcement, and concrete (FRP) systems and support related structural construction activities including steel fixing and post-tensioning preparation works. Key Duties and Responsibilities: ·Construct, install, repair, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures including slabs, beams, columns, and walls ·Interpret and work from engineering drawings, plans, and specifications ·Measure, cut, assemble, and position timber and formwork materials ·Ensure formwork is level, aligned, and compliant prior to concrete pours ·Assist with reinforcement placement (steel fixing) where required ·Support preparation of post-tensioning works under supervision ·Carry out concreting support tasks including placement assistance and finishing preparation ·Install temporary supports, falsework, and bracing systems ·Repair and maintain existing structural formwork and carpentry elements ·Work collaboratively with site teams including engineers, supervisors, and other trades ·Comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures at all times Requirements: ·Certificate III in relevant trade qualification or ·At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed ·A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in commercial or civil construction carpentry ·Experience in formwork construction for reinforced concrete structures ·Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications ·Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and structural sequencing ·Ability to work safely in a physically demanding construction environment ·Solid teamwork and communication skills Additional Requirements ·Construction Induction White Card (mandatory) ·Valid Drivers licence (mandatory) ·Relevant site tickets (e.g., Working at Heights) desirable ·Commitment to workplace health and safety standards Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qr32i
