Operations Manager - Transport, Storage, and Logistics …, Adelaide

Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a new challenge in the transport and logistics industry? We are seeking a dynamic, hands on Operations Manager for our North Adelaide depot to oversee the day to day operations of our interstate transport and freight business. You’ll be responsible for managing a wide range of operations, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of freight, while leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced and competitive industry.

**About the Role** As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing the day to day operations across our transport, storage, and logistics services. You will work across multiple industries, including automotive, industrial, heavy haulage, oil and gas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage superior service delivery to clients
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to ensure all collections and deliveries are completed on time
- Lead branch operations, including managing labour and vehicle resources to achieve both local and interstate delivery objectives
- Supervise operations personnel, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures
- Plan, manage, and review fleet repairs and maintenance
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Work Health and Safety standards
- Manage operational costs in collaboration with the State Manager
- Oversee site security and the management of property and plant

**About You** To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Proven leadership and management experience
- Robust organisational and planning skills
- The ability to effectively liaise with teams across sales, administration, and operations
- Solid computer literacy
- A focus on customer service
- Previous experience in a logistics environment, ideally within the transport industry
