- Stable full-time permanent opportunity About the role This is a unique opportunity to work across both Sales Estimating and Production Estimating , giving you variety, ownership, and the opportunity to grow alongside the business. You will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, managing documentation, and supporting smooth project delivery from pre-construction through to build commencement. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, you'll contribute to delivering homes that are both affordable and built to a high standard. Main Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate sales and production estimates
- Complete take-offs and cost calculations for residential builds
- Review plans, specifications, engineering, and tender documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed within required timeframes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Work closely with drafting, sales, and construction teams
- Assist in maintaining estimating systems, databases, and pricing schedules
- Support the business as it continues to grow and evolve What you will bring
- Minimum Certificate IV in Building & Construction
- Strong understanding of the residential construction industry, including workflow, terminology, codes, and material costs
- Ability to problem solve, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose efficient solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
