Gardener - Age Care and NDIS (Adelaide)

Clean Advice is seeking experienced subcontractor gardeners to deliver reliable, safety-focused gardening and outdoor maintenance services for clients receiving Home Care Packages (HCP), CHSP, NDIS, and private services. This role is suited to professional gardeners who are already established, fully equipped, and understand the importance of working respectfully and safely in the homes of older Australians. All work is carried out at private residential properties, often for elderly clients with mobility or health limitations. A strong focus on hazard reduction, access, and safety is essential. Responsibilities Lawn & Garden Care
- Lawn mowing, edging, and whipper snipping
- Pruning of shrubs and small trees Maintenance & Safety Services
- Hedge trimming to maintain safe access
- Clearing pathways, driveways, and entrances to reduce trip hazards
- Light watering where required Light Clean-Ups
- Leaf and green waste removal
- General rubbish removal (non-hazardous items only) External Maintenance (Where Approved)
- Gutter cleaning (single-storey properties only)
- Pressure washing paths, driveways, and outdoor areas
- Minor repairs such as fences or gates (non-structural) Professional & Client Expectations
- Work respectfully and professionally in clients’ homes
- Communicate clearly and patiently with elderly clients
- Follow service instructions, care plans, and safety guidelines
- Identify and report safety risks or maintenance concerns
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Applicants must have:
- An active ABN and operate as a subcontractor
- All own commercial-grade gardening equipment and tools
- A reliable vehicle suitable for transporting equipment
- Public liability insurance
- A National Police Check (or willingness to obtain immediately) Experience & Skills
- Strong understanding of protected manual handling and hazard awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
