Engagement Consultant Help people access meaningful employment, strengthen community connections, and build partnerships that change lives. About the Role As an Engagement Consultant, you will represent APM in the community, promoting our services, building trust, and creating pathways for people living with disability, injury, illness, or a medical condition to access our services and find suitable, sustainable employment. Responsibilities
- Engage with community programs, events, and organisations to broaden APM's presence
- Identify and directly register participants into APM's services
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of stakeholder partnerships
- Connect participants with meaningful job opportunities and professional development pathways
- Collaborate with NDIS providers, medical professionals, and support agencies
- Represent APM with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to enabling better lives Qualifications & Experience
- A warm, approachable, and compassionate communication style
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport across diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated personal integrity and respect for confidential information
- Strong planning skills and experience working collaboratively toward shared outcomes
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise effectively
- High levels of initiative and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility and adaptability in a agile, fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of local community networks and opportunities for social and economic participation
- Experience supporting people with disability, or relevant lived experience
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and digital systems
- A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one) Benefits
