Principal Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Land We are looking for a Principal Environmental Scientist to join our Adelaide office. About the Role In this role you will play a key part in delivering contaminated land projects – providing project guidance, supporting clients, and mentoring junior consultants. The position can be tailored to your strengths, whether you are a generalist or bring specialist expertise in remediation, hydrogeology, risk assessment, or auditing. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct complex contaminated land projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide technical leadership, input, and review reports
- Mentor and develop junior and mid‑level staff
- Support national project delivery and collaboration
- Drive business development and proposal development Qualifications
- A tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related qualification
- 15+ years’ experience in contaminated land or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and key stakeholders to ensure thorough environmental advice and successful project delivery
- Experience in a similar senior position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player
- Experience in training and mentoring staff
