• $90,000–$100,000 + Super + OT
• 15% Afternoon Shift Loading Monday–Friday | 2pm–10pm
• Full workshop onsite + strong career progression We are seeking two experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing site. This is a permanent opportunity within a tight‑knit maintenance team supporting a 24/5 operation. You’ll complete six weeks of training on day shift (6am–2pm) before moving into a permanent afternoon shift (2pm–10pm) Monday to Friday . About the Role
- Reactive and preventative maintenance across high‑speed production equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical faults under pressure
- Stainless steel TIG/MIG welding
- Working with pumps, valves, gearboxes, hydraulics and general food‑grade machinery
- Supporting two major planned shutdowns per year (1–2 weeks each)
- Contributing to a team-oriented, close‑knit maintenance team A fully equipped workshop is onsite, including a lathe, drill press , and all required tools (own hand tools would be beneficial). What We’re Looking For
- Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- Strong TIG/MIG stainless steel welding experience
- FMCG or high‑speed manufacturing background
- Proven reactive maintenance capability
- Ability to read basic sensor systems (PLC exposure highly regarded)
- Team‑oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Willingness to support shutdowns and overtime when required Candidates with service/field experience or strong breakdown‑repair capability (not just part‑replacement) will be highly regarded. Why Apply?
