About the Opportunity We’re seeking a highly capable Organisation Design Senior Advisor to deliver organisational design and operating model initiatives across ASC. Reporting to the Organisation Design Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping organisational structures, governance, and ways of working to ensure alignment with business strategy, capability needs and cost drivers. In this role, you will lead defined components of organisational design projects, including diagnostics, option development and implementation readiness. You will translate design decisions into practical, implementation‑ready structures and operating model solutions, ensuring alignment between design intent, organisational performance, capability and financial outcomes. Working closely with People & Culture Business Partners, Finance, business leaders and change teams, you will deliver structured, evidence‑based design outcomes that support effective decision‑making and sustainable organisational performance. This is a 12‑month fixed term contract opportunity based at our Osborne site in SA or Henderson site in WA. Responsibilities
- Lead components of organisational design projects, including problem structuring, diagnostics and design scoping.
- Analyse organisational structures, workforce data, governance and operating models to identify issues, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and evaluate design options across structures, service models, governance and operating model components.
- Model workforce, FTE and cost impacts of design options, including spans, layers and financial implications.
- Translate approved designs into implementable organisational structures, governance frameworks and decision rights.
- Ensure alignment across structures, capabilities, services and operating model artefacts to maintain coherence and avoid duplication.
- Validate design effectiveness through analysis of organisational performance, cost efficiency and governance load.
- Prepare structured, high‑quality materials to support decision‑making and governance forums.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across People & Culture, Finance and business teams to support coordinated delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of organisational design practices, tools and methodologies. About You
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in organisational design, workforce planning, HR or transformation environments.
- Strong capability in developing organisational structures, operating model artefacts and governance frameworks.
- Experience working with organisational data and modelling tools such as OrgVue or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyse organisational effectiveness, including spans, layers, decision‑making and structural efficiency.
- Strong understanding of workforce cost, FTE modelling and financial implications of design decisions.
- Able to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations and structured outputs.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to develop high‑quality design artefacts and decision materials.
- Experience engaging stakeholders and contributing to delivery of complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented, with a focus on delivering practical, implementable design outcomes. This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
