Department for Education – Job reference: ****** – Location: **** – ADELAIDE – Job status: Ongoing – Eligibility: Open to Everyone Overview The department's Family Day Care Programs directorate oversees the delivery of high-quality home‑based care for children through Family Day Care, Guardianship Family Day Care and Respite Care programs, in line with the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care, the South Australian Children and Young People's Safety Act and National Disability Insurance Scheme. The Business and Customer Support Officer is responsible for delivering high‑quality customer service support and administrative functions related to home‑based care fees, levies, enrolments, payments, and compliance. Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality customer service support and administrative functions related to home‑based care fees, levies, enrolments, payments and compliance.
- Work collaboratively within a team workplace, providing business support to educators and care providers.
- Deliver accounts payable and receivable functions, undertake tasks related to childcare subsidy and other core compliance requirements.
- Support families to establish and maintain enrolments. Qualifications Essential: Nil. Desirable: Nil. Special Conditions
- Must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment, and renew every five years before expiry.
- Must undertake the RRHAN‑EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead Masterclass extended course or the online Fundamentals course, updated every three years.
- For all other special conditions refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration ASO2 $64,195 – $67,154 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
