The engineering function in Ultra Maritime supports the engineering development lifecycle consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and verification in order to deliver systems and subassemblies into projects and products. These roles are an entry‑level or early‑career professional (0 to 5 years) of experience but with applicable education, learning skills to perform engineering tasks under direction and an eagerness to grow. Successful Candidates Will Have The Following Personal Attributes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to deliver technical information to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to multi‑task across a range of engineering activities.
- Proficiency in technical reporting with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use sound problem‑solving techniques to provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems.
- Ability to make decisions with the information at hand.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally across functional teams to achieve goals.
- Demonstrates behaviours that align with and promote the company’s values. These roles require a security clearance (or willingness to obtain). Typically, a Bachelor’s Degree (in Electrical & Electronics) and 0 to 5 years of related experience. Nationality Requirements The successfully appointed candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a current Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1).
