**Your new role**

As the Communications and Marketing Advisor, you will be leading the development and delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns that align with the department's objectives and priorities.

Additionally, you will oversee the production of high-quality publications, such as newsletters, brochures, reports, and presentations. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain the department's website and social media channels, ensuring they are up-to-date, engaging, and user-friendly. Moreover, you will provide advice and guidance to senior management and stakeholders on marketing and communications issues and opportunities. Lastly, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communications activities and report on outcomes and recommendations.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar senior marketing and communications role within the public sector
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans that achieve results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels
- High-level digital skills, including experience in managing websites and social media platforms
- Sound project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated background successfully working with Executive’s providing advice, support, and guidance as required
- You must hold up-to-date police check with no qualifications or disclosable
- You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role
