Cost Controller (Adelaide)

SAP Financial Oversight Act as the primary user for the SAP CO (Controlling) module to trackcost center performance and internal orders. Fieldglass Administration Manage contractor timesheets and service entries within Fieldglass to ensure hourly rates and headcounts align with contractual agreements. Coupa Procurement Workflow Oversee the purchase-to-pay process in Coupa , ensuring all requisitions are coded correctly against the budget before approval. System Reconciliation Perform regular reconciliations between Coupa (procurement), Fieldglass (labor), and SAP (general ledger) to ensure data consistency. Budget & Forecasting Variance Analysis Conduct monthly Plan vs. Actual analysis to identify overspends or under-utilization of plant budgets. Forecasting (EAC) Work with Maintenance and Plant Managers to develop Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports for ongoing maintenance campaigns or shutdowns. Cash Flow Management Predict monthly cash outflows based on upcoming maintenance schedules and contractor mobilization plans. Invoice Verification Validate complex contractor invoices against work completion evidence and field service tickets. Rate Compliance Audit vendor billing to ensure adherence to the Master Service Agreement (MSA) rate cards stored in Fieldglass/Coupa. Accruals Management Calculate and postmonthly financial accruals for work performed but not yet invoiced to ensure accurate month-end closing. Must-Have
- 1. 5+ years in Cost Controlling, specifically within Oil & Gas, Mining, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
