Emperor Sushi is a proudly independent and fast growing brand, established by the Romeo Family in 2015. With 13 stores across South Australia and Recent South Wales, we are dedicated to delivering fresh, flavourful sushi and outstanding customer service.

Now, we’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated team members to join our Adelaide location and grow with us!

About the Role

As a Sushi Chef or Sushi Maker, you will:

Prepare a variety of sushi using both traditional and modern techniques

Select and handle fresh, high-quality ingredients

Ensure consistency in flavour, presentation, and portion control

Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards

Assist with stock management, deliveries, and stock rotation

Help minimise food waste and maintain cost control

Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organised

Work collaboratively to maintain a welcoming and efficient team environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Sushi Chef, Sushi Maker, or in a kitchen environment (highly regarded)

Robust knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques

Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

A genuine passion for sushi and hospitality
