Metier Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager (Internal) to lead a high-volume, multi-state recruitment function for a well-established organisation. Based in Adelaide, this role reports directly to the General Manager and plays a critical leadership role across recruitment operations in South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales. About the Role This is a hands‑on leadership position overseeing a small internal recruitment team, including two Recruitment Partners as direct reports. You will be responsible for driving performance, improving capability, and ensuring consistent delivery across a fast‑paced, high‑volume workplace. You’ll lead both strategy and execution—balancing operational recruitment delivery with coaching and development of your team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Recruitment Partners in daily recruitment activity
- Oversee high‑volume end‑to‑end recruitment across SA, VIC, and NSW
- Run and support a mix of group assessment sessions, structured interviews, and targeted 1:1 headhunting
- Personally recruit for managerial and shared services roles as required
- Drive consistent hiring outcomes, quality of hire, and time‑to‑fill performance
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align workforce needs with business priorities
- Engage directly with executive and C‑suite leaders, providing updates, insights, and recruitment strategy input
- Improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and overall hiring effectiveness About You You are a confident recruitment leader who thrives in high‑volume, multi‑site environments. You are equally comfortable coaching a team as you are leading executive‑level conversations. You will bring
- Background in agency recruitment or internal talent acquisition (preferred)
- Proven experience managing high‑volume recruitment functions
- Strong capability in stakeholder management, including executive/C‑suite engagement
- Experience in structured interviewing, assessment centres, and proactive sourcing/headhunting
- A calm, commercial approach with strong organisational and leadership skills
