The Opportunity Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, designing and coordinating heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions across all stages of project development. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing, and reviewing HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Producing engineering documentation including drawings, reports, and technical specifications
- Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions
- Participating in project meetings and contributing technical expertise
- Managing deliverables across multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines
- Supporting sustainable and energy-efficient building design initiatives About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Approximately 2–3 years of industry experience in Building Services
- Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC modelling tools
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, Australian construction standards, and energy efficiency requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with client and internal stakeholders
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capability
- Well‑organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work with limited supervision
- Team‑oriented with a collaborative approach to project delivery
