Role Summary Civeo Australia are looking for highly experienced FIFO Head Chefs to work closely with the Village & Catering Managers to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across WA. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village. This is a fly-in-fly-out role (FIFO) departing from Perth on 8:6 rosters. Key Responsibilities Ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village. Work closely with Village & Catering Managers to deliver exceptional food. Supervise and manage a team of chefs (at least 3+ years experience). Order, store, prepare and deliver food service. Implement and monitor profit and wastage reporting. Provide client relationship management and support. Qualifications 5+ years cumulative chef experience, preferably working in a large hotel or remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO) with at least 3+ years supervising and managing a team of chefs. Experience with ordering, storing, preparing and delivering food service. Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment. Ordering, profit and wastage reporting. Client relationship management and support. Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate. Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment. Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements. Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications. Budgetary and analytical skills. Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage. Valid Class C driver’s licence. Benefits $110k
- $130k base package (depending on village size). 8:6 Roster FIFO from Perth. 26 even fortnightly pays with super paid on all rostered hours.
