About Hillgrove Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia. Located in the majestic Adelaide Hills, only 55km from the Adelaide CBD, Hillgrove has operated since and completed open-pit mining at Kanmantoo in . In we commenced development of our underground mine and in completed our transition to underground copper production. Our operation is well capitalised with a 3-3.6 Mtpa processing plant, with permitted surface infrastructure in place. Hillgrove is also testing the next suite of high-potential targets. In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, we have a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia, which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings ("South Eastern Copper Project"). Hillgrove supplies critical minerals for a sustainable future, backed by long-standing environmental stewardship and strong stakeholder relationships. With a well-understood ore body and proven metallurgy, we deliver stable performance, deep regional know-how, and active participation in South Australia's mining community. What you’ll be doing
- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Conduct pre-start checks, operate machinery, and transport necessary equipment.
- Install and Repair Systems: Set up and maintain air, water, and ventilation systems; manage sumps and pumps.
- Underground Construction: Install and maintain infrastructure, including ventilation systems and cable bolts; assist with charging up activities.
- Assist in Development Areas: Support the setup of recent development areas to ensure continuous operations.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Identify and mitigate hazards, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Handle Waste and Materials: Remove waste and transport materials between stores and underground sites.
- Communicate Effectively: Interpret directions, report hazards, and maintain open communication with team members.
- Collaborate with Team: Work together to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work ethic.
- Adapt to Changing Conditions: Be versatile with tasks, teams, and work hours to meet operational needs. What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in underground mining, including operating underground equipment.
