Food Services And Site Assistant Adelaide

Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive customer impact? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Food Services and Site Assistant to support the team.

Based on site at the Pullman Hotel in Adelaide CBD as part of the Transition Care Service (TCS) delivered by Amplar Health Home Hospital, you will join the team on a part-time basis, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends.

The role:

Assist patients with menus.

Deliver meals to patient rooms with warmth and professionalism.

Assist patients with meal setup and ensure dietary needs are met.

Maintain cleanliness in service areas.

Communicate with nursing and dietary staff regarding patient meal preferences or concerns.

Follow all hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.

Management of supplies and equipment for the TCS.

About you

A caring, patient-focused attitude.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare (preferred).

Works well within a team setting.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).

If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
