Project Manager – Electrical (Construction & Major Projects) Join a team delivering South Australia's most complex electrical infrastructure projects. We are seeking a technically strong Project Manager to join our growing construction team, focusing primarily on electrical projects up to $5 million in value. This role is ideal for: An experienced Electrical Project Manager looking for more technically challenging work A Senior Electrical Supervisor or Leading Hand ready to transition into project management Someone who thrives on solving complicated infrastructure problems rather than simply administering projects About the Role You will lead the delivery of technically complex electrical infrastructure projects including: Main switchboard upgrades and changeovers Live workplace and shutdown works Critical power and backup systems Commercial fit-outs and refurbishments Infrastructure coordination and staged commissioning works Success in this role requires someone who can think ahead, meticulously plan shutdown sequences, optimise programme durations and coordinate multiple stakeholders in high‐pressure environments. This is not a "sit behind a desk and push paperwork" PM role. We are looking for someone who genuinely understands electrical systems, buildability, sequencing and technical delivery. Key Responsibilities End‐to‐end project delivery from planning through to commissioning and handover Shutdown planning and execution with a strong focus on minimising downtime and risk Programme development and optimisation Client management and stakeholder coordination Review and optimisation of electrical designs and spatial layouts Coordination with consultants, subcontractors and site teams Procurement, budgeting and cost control Technical problem solving during live and staged construction environments Management of safety, quality and compliance requirements Preparation and review of construction methodologies and commissioning plans What We're Looking For Strong technical electrical knowledge and infrastructure experience Experience delivering commercial or infrastructure electrical projects Excellent planning and coordination skills Ability to communicate confidently with clients, consultants and site teams Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu mark‐ups Strong understanding of project sequencing and shutdown methodologies Highly Regarded Experience with live environment or shutdown works Microsoft Project programming experience Exposure to BIM, spatial coordination or design review processes Experience with critical infrastructure, generators, switchboards, system integration Why Join NSG Boffa?
