The Electrolux Adelaide Manufacturing Cooking Plant is a thriving and innovative example of contemporary advanced manufacturing in Australia. Encompassing fully automated sheet metal press lines, robot powder coating processes and automated gluing cells all leading to centralised assembly and packing. Consisting of a workforce of more than 400 employees, across three shifts and 40 robots all contributing to making approximately 1,500 ovens per day! Your Role As an Electrical Tradesperson you will be responsible for maintaining and maximising the manufacturing plant effectiveness and efficiency by carrying out preventative, scheduled and emergency jobs. Working with our collaborative and passionate manufacturing maintenance and engineering team, you will identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, process improvements and data management through our manufacturing processes, including robotics and digital scheduling systems. Key Responsibilities Ensure plant is maintained effectively and efficiently Provide technical advice Use your problem‐solving skills in fault finding Carry out scheduled work in an effective and timely manner Attend emergency repairs including breakdowns on complex machines like robots, servo drives and conveyors Input data using the Computerised Maintenance Management System Develop, deliver and implement electrical solutions and improvements Work within a team environment under minimum supervision Carry out duties in accordance with Electrolux Home Products workplace health and safety, environment, quality and energy policies, regulations, corporate values, and strategies Work within Electrolux Home Products Safe Systems of Work processes and procedures Maintain the availability and reliability of the manufacturing plant's electrical components and associated equipment Manage and investigate critical plant emergency incidents, complete plant failure/condition technical reports and efficiency assessments Comply with the manufacturers and Electrolux Home Products procedures and recommendations for the maintenance and operation of all plant and equipment Contribute to the development and maintenance of site records to ensure accurate historical information for maintenance purposes, including use of the maintenance management system and time confirmation of all tasks About you To be successful you will be able to work effectively within a small team environment, under minimal supervision and display the following attributes: Be self‐motivated and take initiative The ability to be pro‐active and work with flexibility and efficiently Be adaptable to different situations Have superior problem‐solving skills Capable of managing changes and multiple challenges at the same time A can‐do attitude and able to contribute to a positive team environment Communicate competently with others Australian working rights is a must have requirement Skills and Qualifications Hold an "A" Class Electrical License Knowledge of computer controls systems, PLC's (Siemens & Mitsubishi) Interpret drawings and have the ability to diagnose and rectify problems Skilled in AutoCAD for drawing updates Good understanding of CMMS (Mainpac) Have proven knowledge of robotics [ABB will be advantageous] Have a good understanding of preventative maintenance techniques Demonstrated knowledge of safety systems and pre‐task plans Sound computer knowledge Understanding and compliance of WHS, environmental, quality regulations Why work for Electrolux?
