The Master Builders Association of South Australia (MBA SA) is the peak industry body representing the commercial and residential building and construction sector across South Australia. For more than 140 years, MBA SA has played a significant role in advocating for members, strengthening industry capability and supporting the long‐term sustainability of one of the state's most significant economic sectors. Through industry leadership, education and training, policy advocacy and member services, MBA SA continues to influence and support the future of the South Australian construction industry.

A rare chance now exists for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join MBA SA's executive leadership team at an important time for both the organisation and the broader construction industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, information technology and property‐related functions, supporting sound commercial decision‐making, organisational performance and long‐term sustainability. As a key member of the executive team, and working with the Board, the CFO will contribute to a successful and sustainable future through strategic planning, operational improvement and revenue growth initiatives across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be a commercially astute and hands‐on finance executive with demonstrated experience leading broad corporate services functions within a complex setting. You will bring robust financial and analytical capability, sound governance expertise and the ability to provide trusted advice at executive and Board level. Experience overseeing finance systems, operational infrastructure and external service providers will be highly regarded, together with the ability to build robust relationships across industry and stakeholder groups. Relevant tertiary qualifications and skilled accounting accreditation are essential, as is strong alignment with MBASA's culture and values.
