Devops / Platform Engineer Adelaide

Handy Finance is building highly automated lending, settlement, and servicing platforms that handle sensitive financial data and make real financial decisions. We're looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the reliability, security, and delivery of our cloud platforms
- from code to production, end-to-end. This role sits across engineering, QA, and operations, ensuring our systems are deployable, testable, observable, and well-documented, and that changes are released safely in a regulated environment. What You'll Do Build and operate secure, scalable Azure platforms supporting backend services and Salesforce-integrated systems Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support automated builds, deployments, and testing Own environment consistency across DEV, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production Implement and maintain end-to-end testing pipelines, validating real workflows across systems Partner with backend engineers and QA to ensure: Core decisioning and settlement flows work end-to-end Integrations, edge cases, and failure scenarios are covered Ensure systems are observable and auditable, with monitoring, logging, and alerting Implement solid security controls, secrets management, and access policies Design and test rollback, recovery, and incident response processes Prepare and maintain clear, accurate API documentation, including contracts, schemas, and versioning, to support internal teams and system integrations Support reliable releases of policy-driven and AI-assisted services What You'll Bring 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Proven experience with: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) Containerised and serverless workloads Why Join Handy Finance?
