Job Information Organisation: Adelaide University Field: Biological Sciences Position: Researcher – Plant Biology Contract: Full‐time, 3‐year fixed term Salary: $81,293 – $109,307 per annum (plus 17% superannuation) Location: College of Science, School of Biological Sciences, Adelaide City Campus, Adelaide, Australia Application deadline: 31 May **** (UTC) Responsibilities Deliver engaging undergraduate teaching across face‐to‐face, hybrid and online modes. Mentor and supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students. Conduct research in plant biology, ecology and/or physiology focussed on native flora. Publish peer‐reviewed research and contribute to academic publications. Plan and execute fieldwork, laboratory and greenhouse projects. Collaborate with students, researchers and industry partners. Essential Qualifications PhD in botany, plant biology or related field with a focus on native flora. Strong research track record in plant biology, ecology and/or physiology with peer‐reviewed publications. Experience in teaching at undergraduate level across varying delivery modes. Experience in mentoring/supervising students at advanced level. Excellent organisational, time‐management, interpersonal and intercultural skills and a collaborative approach. Alignment with values of trust, inclusivity, ambition, respect and discovery. Desirable Qualifications Experience contributing to external research funding applications and developing academic/industry networks in Australia. Commitment to work, health and safety practices. Experience planning and conducting fieldwork, laboratory and greenhouse research.
