Our client, a reputable legal firm based in Adelaide CBD, seeks an experienced permanent full‐time Legal Secretary to join their team. Full time permanent role Close knit team and positive work culture. Chance for growth within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Accurate Typing: Perform exact word processing and typing tasks. Document Preparation: Transcribe and draft files and legal documents. Diary Management: Effectively manage schedules and appointments. Correspondence: Prepare documents and handle routine correspondence. Filing Management: Maintain and monitor filing systems, ensuring follow‐up on all correspondence using database systems. Client Interaction: Manage incoming calls and welcome visitors. Information Management: Handle information using Excel spreadsheets and practice management systems (Open Practice). Administrative Support: Undertake various duties as required. Professional Service Delivery: Ensure all services are completed in a timely and professional manner. Skills and Experience Experience with transcribing from dictation recordings. Fast and accurate typing skills. Typist or legal secretarial background, coupled with a very solid eye for detail and accuracy with systems would be advantageous. Experience with formatting documents. Highly developed organisation and communication skills. The ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative.
