The role will be focussed on junior primary class music teaching, along with opportunities for the successful candidate to participate in broader music and school events which are part of St Andrew's School community life. Selection Criteria Hold a current Teacher Registration in South Australia Bachelor of Education at a minimum Demonstrated high standards in primary music education and the ability to enthuse, motivate and encourage students in their music learning Experience in Kodaly and Orff methodologies Ensure teaching methodologies support explicit teaching, data‐informed assessment, critical thinking and problem‐solving skills, and facilitate independent learning Highly focused on achieving student outcomes to develop the whole child Excellent interpersonal skills Highly organised and willing to contribute within a team environment Supportive of independent education and the School's Anglican ethos In addition, candidates will be prepared to participate in extra‐curricular activities, attend School events, and use best endeavours to maintain, promote and advance the reputation and success of the School The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid Certificate, and a Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN‐EC) Certificate Child Safety and Workplace Culture We are committed to providing a supportive and culturally safe working workplace for all staff members, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
