- The Terrace Hotel Adelaide Hotel Alba, 226 South Terrace, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia Posted Wednesday 27 May **** at 2:00 pm | Expires Tuesday 30 June **** at 1:59 pm The Role As an Accounts Clerk at South Terrace Precinct, you'll be at the heart of the hotel's financial operations
- managing accounts payable and receivable, keeping our ledgers tight, and ensuring every transaction is processed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with the Finance & Business Support team to maintain the financial integrity that underpins everything we do. Key Responsibilities Process and pay all hotel invoices in accordance with accounting policies
- verifying authorisation, accuracy, and receipt of goods before payment. Load payment files, attach required documentation, and obtain necessary approvals before sending. Reconcile hotel payment accounts against supplier statements and ensure all accounts balance with the general ledger at period end. Manage accounts receivable
- raise and send invoices, chase outstanding balances, and reconcile credit accounts promptly. Handle client and credit card enquiries, and reconcile prepaid accounts with the general ledger. Support the broader Finance team as needed and attend all scheduled meetings. What You'll Bring Experience in an accounts payable/receivable or finance administration role, ideally in hospitality or a similarly fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation. Proficiency with computerised accounts systems and strong attention to numerical accuracy. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Clear and professional communication skills
