About the Client Our client is a respected South Australian business specialising in flooring and window furnishings, known for delivering tailored solutions and exceptional customer service. Operating within a fast-paced project and showroom environment, they pride themselves on professionalism, operational efficiency and creating a seamless customer experience from consultation through to installation. With continued growth across the business, they are now seeking an experienced Office Manager-level professional to step in and take ownership of internal administration, systems and operational processes. About the Role This is not an entry-level administration role or a training chance. This position requires a highly capable and experienced operations and administration professional who can confidently step in, manage structure across the business and contribute at a high level from day one. Working closely with the business owner, you will oversee administration, systems, reporting and workflow management while bringing leadership, accountability and process improvement to the wider operation. You will play a critical role in refining systems, documenting procedures, improving efficiencies and ensuring operational consistency across the business. This role will suit someone with strong leadership maturity and proven experience driving structure and accountability within a busy operational environment. What You Will Do
* Take ownership of operational administration and internal business systems
* Create, refine and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Manage and improve workflows, reporting and operational processes
* Oversee CRM accuracy, customer job tracking and internal documentation
* Support reconciliation, purchasing, ordering and administrative control
* Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, installers and consultants
* Manage Office 365 systems including Teams, Excel, Word and user administration
* Utilise Office 365 add-ons, integrations and workflow tools to improve efficiency
* Provide reporting, operational support and direct assistance to the business owner
* Drive organisation, accountability and consistency across the team
* Support ongoing systemisation and operational improvements across the business What You Will Bring
* Previous experience in an Office Manager, Operations Administration or Senior Administration role
* Proven ability to take ownership of systems, processes and operational structure
* Strong leadership capability with the maturity and confidence to manage people and workflows independently
* Advanced Microsoft Office 365 capability including Teams, Excel, Word and system administration
* Experience building SOPs, refining workflows and improving business efficiency
* Strong administration, reporting and organisational skills
* Experience within trade, flooring, blinds, interiors, construction or project-based industries will be highly regarded
* Confidence working directly with business owners and managing competing priorities
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
* Exposure to AI tools, workflow systems or productivity integrations will be highly regarded
* Social media and digital confidence will also be viewed favourably What's in It for You!
