About the role We are currently seeking a Lifecycle Marketing & Digital Experience Lead to join our team on a permanent, full‐time basis. The Lifecycle Marketing & Digital Experience Lead is a new role at the heart of how Elders shows up for customers across every digital touchpoint, every divisional business, every stage of their journey with us. You'll design, build and continually improve the customer lifecycle program across all our ERS divisional businesses
- acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, win‐back and advocacy. You'll own marketing's eDM and automation engine. You'll be the marketing voice on the Elders Weather website and Elders Weather App, and you'll partner with our online retail team to lift the customer experience across farm supplies and other product channels. You will also lead our AI agenda for the Digital, Direct & Experience Marketing Team
- finding, piloting and scaling the AI initiatives that will make our marketing smarter, faster and more personal. This is a role for someone who's equal parts strategist and builder. Responsibilities Owning the ERS lifecycle marketing strategy across every divisional business
- agency, farm supplies, real estate, insurance, financial services and weather Designing, building and optimising automated customer journeys across email, SMS, push and in‐app Building sophisticated eDM capability
- targeting clients by geography, farming activity, product holding and trading status, and tracking the leads we generate Supporting the Elders Weather website and App as marketing‐owned digital products
- growing audience, engagement and commercial opportunities Partnering with the online retail team to improve the e‐commerce customer experience, conversion paths and post‐purchase journeys Owning the customer data and segmentation framework for marketing, in partnership with Data & Analytics Leading the marketing AI roadmap
- generative AI, predictive models, personalisation, conversational and agentic experiences
- with the right governance around it Coaching and lifting AI literacy across the wider marketing team Making sure everything we do is on the right side of the Privacy Act, Spam Act and our customers' trust About you You're someone who: Has a solid track record of delivering results across the lifecycle, CRM, eDM or digital experience
- and can point to the journeys, the lift and the lessons; Has built and run programs on a modern marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze, Marketo, Klaviyo or similar); Has a strong understanding of customer data and segmentation — and knows how to turn it into experiences that feel personal; Has identified, piloted and scaled AI initiatives in a marketing context, and has a point of view on responsible AI; Has worked with or alongside digital product, app or e‐commerce teams on customer‐facing experiences; Holds tertiary qualifications in marketing, commerce, digital or a related field; Has a driver's licence (we'll get you out into the network); Experience in agriculture, rural services, weather, agritech or a multi‐divisional brand setting is a real plus — but a genuine curiosity about regional and rural Australia matters more.
