Lead and contribute to nuclear safety cases for complex naval nuclear infrastructure. Apply deterministic safety analysis methodologies to generate safety requirements and inform the design process. Engage with licensing and regulatory frameworks governing nuclear‑powered naval operations. Produce and review technical design substantiation documentation to the standard demanded by nuclear regulation.Mentor and develop the next generation of Australian NSQEP. What We Offer

Essential: Safety‑informed design process experience. Deterministic safety analysis experience. Regulation and licensing experience. Technical design substantiation experience. Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.Desirable: Experience in high‑hazard industries (oil and gas, conventional defence, aviation, or similar) operating under formal regulatory regimes. Direct experience with nuclear‑powered submarine programmes. Involvement in the delivery of nuclear facilities or infrastructure. Background in Defence project delivery.A Note to Career‑Changers
