Overview Korvest Ltd is an ASX listed company operating as Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel&components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia. From our Head Office in Adelaide, we manufacture, galvanise and distribute engineered support systems used in major infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects across Australia. Our national branch network supports projects ranging from industrial facilities to major tunnel and infrastructure installations.
Your New Role We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team of Engineers responsible for sales and manufacturing support. This position offers a variety of duties including:
Designing and developing new engineered product solutions
Conducting engineering assessments for cold and fire-rated support systems
Engineering support for large-scale cable ladder installations, including tunnels and major infrastructure projects
Liaising directly with clients, contractors and external engineering consultants
Investigating and resolving mechanical issues both in the design and product implementation phase
Support and mentor junior engineers and influence how the team solves problems
Contributing to continuous improvement in engineering processes and product design
You Will Bring You are a practical and solutions-focused engineer who enjoys applying engineering principles to real-world industrial applications. You will bring:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial or product engineering
Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Work well as part of a larger team
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing and project teams
Highly Regarded
Experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks)
Experience managing engineering projects
Exposure to automation systems or manufacturing processes
Trade/hands on background
