Lead and manage the mechanical design office, supporting and mentoring a team of engineers and designers. Oversee the design and development of mechanical systems including actuator arms, gearboxes, and aircraft structural assemblies. Ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with electronics, avionics, and composite structures.Drive design reviews, design documentation, and continuous improvement practices across the team. Maintain a hands-on presence when needed—supporting prototyping, fault-finding, and system testing. Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and leadership teams to align technical outcomes with broader project goals. Requirements

Extensive experience in mechanical design for complex systems (e.g., UAVs, aircraft, robotics, or automotive platforms). Demonstrated leadership or team management experience in an engineering environment. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) for 3D modeling and mechanical systems design.Practical knowledge of prototyping, fabrication, and testing of mechanical systems.
