Senior Analyst / Manager (full time) – Data Science (multiple positions) Australia (Remote/hybrid) – SA, ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS, WA and NT About the role We are seeking to appoint multiple Senior Analyst and Manager roles to join our growing data analytics practice. The roles offer the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across industry and government, delivering high‑impact analytics solutions that support policy and commercial decision‑making. You will play a key role across both client delivery and business growth, with the opportunity to shape how we build and scale our capabilities. About ModaX Consulting We are a start‑up specialist data analytics and modelling consultancy, helping organisations make better decisions through robust, transparent, and actionable insights. Our work spans predictive analytics, financial modelling, and data‑driven decision support across both industry and government. - Deliver high‑quality analytics solutions across a range of projects
- Apply machine learning, predictive modelling, and quantitative techniques to solve complex public policy or business problems
- Contribute to the preparation of business proposals, including background research, structuring approaches, and drafting content tailored to client needs
- Support the continuous improvement of internal delivery processes, templates, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency Project and team leadership (Manager level)
- Manage end‑to‑end project delivery to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Coach and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and oversight
- Support quality assurance and review of deliverables About you
- A strong quantitative background (e.g. actuarial science, data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science or similar)
- Senior Analyst: 3+ years' experience
- Manager: 5+ years' experience
- Australian citizenship to obtain security clearance
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and/or SAS (experience with additional programming languages is highly regarded)
- Strong capability in machine learning and predictive modelling
- Strong work ethics, proactive and a team player
- Willing to work on-site at client locations as required
- Consulting or client‑facing experience
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and building production‑ready predictive models
- Financial modelling experience or solid Excel skills
