Designer (Residential Construction) (Adelaide)

Join a leading custom home builder as a designer, producing high-quality residential homes, working collaboratively. About the Role As a Designer at Regent Homes, you will play a key role in the design and documentation of high-end custom residential homes across all project stages. Working within an experienced and collaborative team, you will produce detailed, high-quality drawings that are accurate, buildable, compliant, and consistently aligned with Regent Homes' standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings across concept, planning, and working drawing stages.
- Support 3D modeling and rendering for client presentations.
- Work alongside team members to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable.
- Apply company design standards, systems, and workflows.
- Coordinate with estimating, selections, and construction teams.
- Manage time and meet project deadlines. What You’ll Bring
- Qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or Architecture (Diploma or higher).
- 5+ years' experience in residential design/drafting (custom homes preferred).
- Exposure to ArchiCAD or similar BIM software (training can be provided).
- Interest and passion in residential design and construction.
- Solid attention to detail, producing accurate drawings.
- Sound knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and local requirements.
- Solid understanding of building specifications, materials, and construction practices.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
