You will play a key role in driving strong commercial outcomes through proactive reporting, financial oversight, contract compliance, and project support. Working closely with business administrators, technical teams, and leadership, you will help embed best‑practice commercial processes and improve project performance across the business. The Opportunity
- Monitor and report on project commercial performance, including financial tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and cashflow management.
- Support Project Managers with project setup, commercial controls, invoicing compliance, subcontract administration, and maintenance of project systems.
- Coordinate monthly client invoicing and debt monitoring to ensure compliance with client and contract requirements while supporting healthy cashflow outcomes.
- Prepare and circulate project and office‑level commercial reports, identify performance trends, and provide insights to support decision‑making and commercial improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to implement consistent commercial processes, reporting standards, and best‑practice solutions across the SA portfolio. Is this role right for you?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project financial reporting, budgeting, cost tracking, and commercial management within a professional services or project environment.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power BI, with the ability to analyse data, generate insights, and produce meaningful business reports.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation and influence project teams positively.
- Highly organised and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience using CRM and financial management systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes; familiarity with Dynamics or similar platforms is advantageous.
